what type of BOV did you use for this projet? Im looking for something simple to do to my car.

Sorry I'm late in on this one.
But I thought the same as what Tommy wrote. I decided ages ago it was nothing but wank factor - and a bluddy annoying one at that. (Even in my rear view mirror!)

I too have seen reports on power lost from BOVs. It reminded me of all those mosquito riders (in Aus you are initially limited to ~250cc motorcycles) that remove baffles etc "to get more power". Not so - they usually lose power. I know that from experience and tests. (But I know it felt faster!)

Point is, I doubt that BOVs improve performance (unless they could could be plumbed back into the turbo intake after a reed-valve fitted downstream to the air cleaner).
But I suspect many "feel" they have more power or are going faster (they are probably confusing the re-acceleration from a slower speed).
I wore a good pair of sunnies for the same effect.
Later I bought a red car.
IZU069 - ISUZU means a lot to me.
