Just a quick question - do C1's and D1's share the same bearings for crank journals and rod journals? Found a cheap Ebay US shop which i might be using to rebuild the C1 going into the Gemini...

Spewing i got shown this site now and not before i did the headgasket on the Piazza - i paid $100 TRADE price, the US kit delivered is $45AUS :(

Holyshit $45 delivered.. Wonder if it would make it here without getting bent..

Have a look at http://www.gimmecarparts.com.au/ they list the same conrod bearings for G161-200/4ZB1-D1 and same main bearings for 4ZB1-D1.

Did you write to him about shipping prices? Because the US$8 shipping price they have listed is for shipment within USA only. My bet is the shipping charge to Australia would be between $US20 and $US30.

If it is of any interest, I have dealt with Autoengpart (the seller linked to this) and I can recommend them. Good communication and packaging, not cheap to send down to our part of the world but rest assured gasket sets etc. are very well packed and very unlikely to suffer any damage. It still works out shit loads cheaper than local buy. Their head sets have everything in them (VRS style.) their bottom end sets come complete with crank seals too. I've only had one problem where they short supplied one order, when I contacted them they were onto it straight away and sent out the missing part global priortiy. Arrived in three bloody days at absolutely no charge...how good is that? Try getting that sort of service from the spotty kids at farking repco with their sodding universal spares which nearly fit everything but actually fit fuck all.. No I am not a member of the repco fan club :finga:

Tell them I sent you
