coil and igniter setup

Post by twocan »

hey all

Im so close to having my car back up and running but i have removed the rooted old security system from the car as it was not operational. the people who did the job made a huge mess of whats what and now i need to know what wires go from the coil to earth and the tacho and which ones go from the ignigter pack to the + ive side of the coil. if anyone could post a picture of the coil and its connections it would be appreciated.

cheers

The second wire attached to the lug on the coil goes off to a single pin connector this appears to be the tacho signal according to the wiring diagram.

If youve hooked the wrong side up to the tacho theres a good chance youve blown the kent out of it.
