Some cars will, after the exhaust is upgraded, not be able to bypass enough exhaust through the waste gate to keep the boost at the original setting.
Mostly this can be rectified by porting the wastegate.

hmm you could go past Shorty's and plug that haltech in to see if everything is ok or something needs changing before jumping to conclusions

i tried disconnecting the motor from the turbo and it made no difference, but there was a weird noise coming from the turbo with it disconnected so i connected it back up. just wondering if anybody thinks it is a bad idea by connecting another spring on the outside of the turbo to pull the waste gate open easier
have not had a chance to play with the timing yet as i have not been able to aquire a timing light yet, i read the manual and it said to set it at 10, what timing is everyone else running, advance or retarded and by how much
